I took the VCAP6-DCV Design exam in March as part of the BETA program. It was a nice exam but made frustrating by the fact it kept locking up and out of the 4 hours allocated, I lost an hour and moved machines 3 times. When the results came out, I wasn’t surprised when I was told i didn’t make the grade. Afterall, I didn’t actually answer all the questions. After speak to Pearson Vue they finally sorted out a exam voucher so I could take a free resit.
The about two weeks ago, like many people who had taken the exam (in BETA and GA) I received an email to say the VCAP6-DCV Design was being re-marked by 1st December. This date came and went and I’d I heard nothing so I wasn’t to fussed about it as I had already booked in my re-sit. Having already scored 280+ without answering all the BETA questions I was quietly confident.
When I logged in this morning, I noticed some chat in the VCIX channels on the #vExpert slack about re-marks showing up in Certificate Manager, so I checked my account and it seems VMware Education, in their ultimate wisdom, have re-marked my paper and, to cut a long story short, I passed!
